We are thrilled to see a new cocktail bar join Uptown, this one from the team behind Namo, right next door to it in the West Village. Say hello to Bar Colette!*
*not to be confused with “Colette Dallas,” a nightclub in Northwest Dallas when looking it up on Google. You must type“Bar Colette!”

BAR COLETTE
A chic European-inspired lounge that transports you to a global hub like Paris or London, Bar Colette focuses on crafted cocktails that take several days to concoct via the production of all their meticulous ingredients.
THE SPACE
Chic and intimate, you’ll feel pretty cool sipping a cocktail at Colette, whether right after work when it opens at 5pm, or late into the night past midnight on weekends. Because of its size, reservations are a must (and book 7 days out), whether you choose velvet booth seating, energetic bar, or the heated patio.
COCKTAILS
Headed by award-winning bartender Ruben Rolon, who was picked up from Miami’s Michelin restaurant L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, find a menu of 10 full-sized gastronomic cocktails. They sit in the low $20’s in terms of pricing, except for the $50 “Finding Namo,” made with matcha juniper distillate, Sakura vermouth, and Sauternes.
MENU HIGHLIGHTS
🥥 Eau de Ranch: coconut-washed tequila, kiwi, soda
🍐 Provence: Eau de Vie de Rasin, rosé poached pear
🥕 Carrot Cake: Bonded Rye, cream sherry, malt, spiced carrots, egg (it really does taste like one)
☕️ Chamonix: Cobra herbal liqueur, hot chocolate
♥️ Rosetta: gin, vermouth, red bitter, hoja santa, pineapple
TWO SIPS
If a full cocktail isn’t what you’re seeking, or want to try a variety of creations, enjoy a “two sip,” aka a mini cocktail! All $10, we recommend the Motomami or Al Pastor, and yes it really does taste like an al pastor taco.
FOOD
Ok y’all, the cocktails are the star of the show, but the food is incredible! The beef tartare and duck were standouts, and the oysters were prepared with a delightful yuzu sauce!
Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to visiting again!
