From upscale out-of-state openings like Elephante to casual eateries like Far Out, and even the controversial comeback of Foxtrot Market, there are so many great new spots going live in 2025. AVRA

A coastal Greek restaurant started by a Greek immigrant in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, has now grown to an upscale destination in LA and Miami, beyond NYC, with Dallas next! (Featured header image, photo courtesy of Avra Group)

CAFFE LUCCA

Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett is opening an Italian restaurant in the former TJ’s Seafood space on Oak Lawn, with Italian restauranteur extraordinaire Julian Barsotti, (who owns Barsotti’s right next door.)

CLARK’S OYSTER BAR

This neighborhood seafood spot from Austin, which also resides in Aspen and Houston, will find a next home off the Katy Trail in a former retro office building (the one on stilts). We are excited to see what they do with the space!

DELILAH

Delilah, with locations in Miami, LA, and Las Vegas, is expanding to Dallas. This 1920’s 1920s-era-inspired extravagant supper club will have burlesque, live bands, and its signature chicken tenders.

DOCENT STEAK & LOUNGE

Harwood Hospitality’s newest concept is a sophisticated Japanese steakhouse inspired by the rich heritage of the Samurai. The moody space will offer prime-graded Akaushi wagyu, Kobe beef, and sake galore, plus live DJs and a sushi bar!

DOMODOMODOMO

This multi-year Michelin Bib Gourmand awardee from NYC and “The Most Popular Sushi Spot in New Jersey” per FinanceBuzz, is coming to The Quad development.

ELEPHANTE

This trendy coastal Italian rooftop in Santa Monica will open in a two-story building within a half-acre park below the new 23Springs complex. We love their whipped eggplant dip!

Far-Out & La Hermana Cerveceria

The former Wriggly Tin space, which used to be a mechanic’s garage, is turning into a restaurant and brewery! The team behind the project is made up of experienced restauranteurs, mixologists, and brewers.

FOXTROT MARKET

Six months after this neighborhood abruptly closed its doors nationwide, Foxtrot has announced its controversial return to two Dallas locations. You can expect some old favorites like breakfast tacos and smoothies, along with a smaller inventory focusing on local makers and streamlined offerings.

Neighborhood: Snider Plaza and Knox

FRENCHIE

An all-day French bistro is coming to Preston Center, from restaurateur Steven Courseau Knox Bistro and Georgie! You can expect European flavors and a full bar.

HAMPTON SOCIAL

Chicago-based East Coast-inspired getaway concept with a “rosé all day” theme complete with all the rosé wines by the glass, rosé cocktails, frosé, and more. It will open in the former Iron Cactus space in Downtown, in 18,000 sq ft of space, with 3 levels and a members-only basement.

Little Ruby's Cafe

LITTLE RUBY’S

Little Ruby’s, from the same group as Elephante, but on the other coast, will also open at 23Springs. This spot leans more casual, as an all-day Australian-inspired cafe!

Expected opening: Fall 2025

 

MAMANI

The new Quadrangle development will include five restaurant concepts, Mamani being one, from the duo behind Namo and Bar Colette. It will be a fine-dining European establishment.

MISS EDDIE'S

This market and cafe is coming to The Adaline, a new multimillion-dollar mixed-use development featuring several businesses, outdoor areas, and apartments.

NIGHT ROOSTER

The team behind The Saint is opening an Asian-inspired restaurant featuring a rooftop bar! This long-awaited spot has been in the works for a while after permit issues, but appears to be on track to open this year!

Nouveau Bar

NOUVEAU BAR

This wildly popular Black and female-owned Atlanta spot is known for its boozy brunches, karaoke, and its signature Cajun Seafood & Grits dish, is coming to Village on the Parkway! Its Texas location will be named Nouveau Noir.

ROYAL BASTARD

Nick Badovinus is at it again, this time with an exclusive and elevated, bar right across from his steak restaurant Town Hearth. This project has been talked about for over a year, with little details released, so we are excited to learn more!

RUTHIE’S CAFE

Beloved grilled cheese truck Ruthie’s is opening a long-awaited brick-and-mortar cafe, serving over a dozen unique hot sandwiches. All proceeds from the cafe will go to St. Philip’s School and Community Center!

SEEGARS DELI

The Fount Board & Table owner is bringing Dallas a classic deli to a space right next to Mike’s Gemini, very soon!

Serritella Prime Italian Steakhouse & COSA Speakeasy Lounge

Led by former Fachini chef Ryan Ferguson, Serritella will be a three-in-one spot featuring a restaurant serving freshly made pasta, pizza, and Texas akaushi wagyu steaks, a market full of Italian eats to-go, and a swanky speakeasy with live music.

Shoals Smokehouse & Pistil Cocktail Lounge

Toyota Music Factory is getting a new BBQ joint inspired by the soulful spirit of Muscle Shoals, with a sophisticated cocktail lounge on the second floor serving martinis while overlooking the plaza stage.
