When people think of Dallas vegan food, Spiral Diner is likely the first restaurant people think of! With locations in Fort Worth, Dallas, and now Denton, Spiral Diner has been serving up vegan comfort food since 2002. They serve breakfast all day, and of course, have brunch on the weekends; get there early though, because it’s always slammed! They have gluten-free options, too. Need to stop in for something quick or have a birthday to celebrate? Spiral Diner has baked goods in-house, makes custom cakes, and now does to-go orders, too!

Their mission is providing high quality vegan pastries that are just as tasty as the real thing. Bam’s Vegan specializes in food that helps people “transition into a healthier vegan/plant-based lifestyle.” You can also visit his website and find yummy recipes like Bam’s Classic Breakfast, Jackfruit Ropa Vieja and Chipotle Sage Nachos. You used to be able to find Bam's at the Dallas Farmers Market, but now they've moved to Irving!
Another popular spot at the Farmers Market, Vegan Vibrationz takes a fun approach to Vegan! Since Texas is definitely known for being a meat state, they like to show their customers that vegan can taste just as good as meat! For example, chicken and waffles, instead of chicken they use fried oyster mushrooms!

NUNO’S TACO & VEGMEX GRILL
What started out as a stand at The Dallas Farmers Market, has grown so popular that they were able to open their own location! Nuno’s is a Mexican restaurant that takes a “healthier” spin on your traditional Mexican dishes. Everything on their menu is vegan and we’ve heard their nachos are to die for! If you are vegan but not ready to give up Tex Mex (that is usually meat heavy), here is your solution!!

Looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth? Cinnaholic is a sweets shop of cinnamon rolls, cookies, brownies and even edible cookie dough that are all fully vegan! Customize your treat like adding marshmallow, graham crackers and chocolate sauce to make your cinnamon roll s’mores worthy or add fruit and chocolate for a chocolate covered strawberry roll! If you’re hosting an event check out their cinnacake that is just as delicious as it sounds with frosting and up to 5 toppings!

If you are in the Frisco area, Jeff’s Vegan is a must! It’s a vegan-based Asian restaurant with offerings that include Sweet and Sour soup, potstickers, Buffalo Cauliflower, Crispy Spicy Chacha and more. And while it’s actually quite easy to eat vegan at many Asian restaurants with eggless noodles and lots of tofu and veggies, Jeff specializes in ONLY vegan Asian, but also cooks up vegan burgers and burritos too!
ITSO Vegan’s goal is to make vegan food so great that even the pickiest eaters will love it! Although they are located in Grand Prairie, you will be shocked by the number of people that make the drive for their delicious food that include Country Fried Dinner and “Chiken” N Waffles, burgers and cheesecake. If you love southern food but are vegan - look no further!

There are multiple ways to get your award winning vegan fix from a chef driven menu! They offer delivery and catering plus a food truck that pops up around DFW and was voted #7 Best Vegan Food Truck in the US! From burgers, pizzas, breakfast items and a long list of gourmet desserts you don’t have to sacrifice flavor when it comes to eating plant based! A lot of their options are also organic and gluten free.

DA MUNCHIES
Another vegan hole-in-the-wall, serving up vegan comfort food, Da Munchies is located in West Dallas and offers dishes like buffalo chicken sandwiches, beyond meat burgers, fried oyster mushrooms, and more. Just be prepared to be confused about the location - it’s random and not well marked. But you’ll be in vegan heaven once you head inside!

Located in Trinity Groves, V-Eats is another Dallas staple. Not only do they serve amazing vegan food, but their drinks are to die for as well; they use cold-pressed juices, kombucha, and fresh herbs for their house cocktails. Open seven days/week, V-Eats is ready to accommodate any eater, vegan or not. The majority of their menu is also gluten-, tree nut-, and soy-free. You can also catch V-Eats at the V Market, a DFW Vegan Pop-Up Market.

Craving Asian Food? D’Vegan is your spot! They have a huge menu that includes spring rolls, noodles, soups, rice dishes, pho, and more. They are located in Lake Highlands, just south of Walnut St., and offer in-house dining or to-go orders. Be sure to add D’Vegan to your list of spots to take your vegan and vegetarian friends!
El Palote is 100% vegan authentic Mexican food. From tacos to tortas and even pan dulce, El Palote uses family recipes to deliver delicious, flavorful Mexican food without the use of any animal byproduct. It’s a bit off the beaten path, though: the restaurant is located in southeast Dallas, off of S. Buckner Blvd. We promise it will be worth the trek!

You know you’re in Texas when you have not one, but TWO vegan Mexican restaurants! Sierra Valley Food’s mission is to share the traditional Mexican food they grew up with without the use of animal, and without losing any flavor. Sierra Valley is only open on Saturdays and Sundays during the Farmers’ Market; however, they do sell some of their food online, so you can have their delicious vegan meals in the comfort of your home, too!

This new spot near Bishop Arts has one of the most interesting menus we’ve seen! The entire restaurant is vegan; “meats” are seitan-, soy-, jackfruit-, or mushroom-based. The menu includes shrimp creole nachos, portobello mushroom steak, Daddy’s fried ginger “beef” sandwich, and many more creative options! Their hours are a bit atypical, so make sure you check their website before you plan your visit!

They have healthy and delicious pre-made vegan meals ready for you to pick up from one of their three DFW locations. Their mission is to make whole, plant-based foods convenient and accessible. You can find them in North Dallas, Lake Highlands, and now Plano!

Whether you need a full meal or just a juice or smoothie, Recipe Oak Cliff has plenty of options for you. They have a rotating menu, but they always have juices, teas, smoothies, as well as a deli and grocer. If you want to buy in bulk, you can grab bottled juices to last you several days. They also offer catering and a co-op! Make sure you contact them if you want to know more, as they keep the info on their website short and sweet.
If you're looking for a Mexican food fix and want to stick to your vegan diet, Casa Del Vegano is calling your name! They take taco Tuesday seriously and even have a gluten-free menu. From mexican mules to tofu tacos to vegan shrimp ceviche, you can get it all! Oh, and make sure to try the churro beignets for us!
