FRIDA'S TACOLANDIA

Frida's was born out of a deep admiration for Frida Kahlo and a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. Despite not being a trained chef, one of the owners has experience from working in his family’s restaurant in Mexico and is proud to serve authentic and delicious food!

PSA: Frida’s Tacolandia is not to be confused with the similarly named Frida’s Tacos, which is located on the same 1400 block of Singleton.

THE SPACE

The co-owner, who doubles as the interior decorator, drew inspiration from his hometown of Durango and the iconic Frida Kahlo. The vibrant decor features earthenware dishes from Mexico, colorful murals, and a cozy patio with umbrellas! If you go, find parking spaces in front of the smoke shop next door!

THE MENU

Frida’s serves a variety of authentic Mexican dishes including their top-selling birria tacos or their costilla en salsa verde, featuring tender pork ribs in a spicy green sauce and served with handmade tortillas. They also have a 2-pound burrito filled with your choice of meat and fresh veggies which is perfect for sharing! Plus they have a full bar with mimosas, margs, cocktails, beer & more!
P.S. Join them for exclusive crispy tacos (Monica-style) on Tuesdays and live music on weekends!
