If you love walking the Katy Trail, get excited, because there’s a new spot to pause for coffee, lunch or even dinner! We stopped by this morning and wow, Rose Cafe is SO CUTE! And we are here to give you all the details!
Updated October 2024
Rose Café
Our decade-long dream of seeing more places pop up along the trail is coming true, with a new addition that is Rosé Cafe, that just opened today in the new Terminal building. It will serve all three meals, continuously throughout the day, from 8am-9pm, coffee, wine or cocktails included!
TRAIL-SIDE PATIO
The space is truly stunning, featuring a soft green tile that surrounds the interior and exterior walls, plus a green marble bar, green and white tiled floor on the patio, and green and white striped booth seating. The green pairs perfectly with the pink touches, as everything overlooks the trail, including the open-air, but covered patio!
MENU
Grab a coffee, tea, or juice in the morning and pair with a Matcha Morning Bun, Burnt Cinnamon Croissant, or Twice-Baked Hazelnut Croissant.
For lunch, there’s a Pork Shoulder Bao Bun, Coconut Noodle Bowl or Spicy Beef Salad - it has an Asian-influenced menu of light, refreshing dishes, thanks to the Cambodian-born chef!
For dinner, many items remain the same, but a few more make their entrance onto the menu including Five Spice Ribs, Cambodian Lemongrass Skewers and a Shrimp Toast to name a few.
COCKTAILS
The Asian influence continues with sake and Japanese beers, but the Frozen Lychee cocktail caught our attention. For lunch, there are a few special spritzes too, including a matcha-infused st germain with toki, yuzu, prosecco and topo…called the Mr. Chow!
NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR
Next door is the also now-open upscale restaurant, Le Passage and we can’t wait to show it off to y’all too! Both concepts come from the same restaurant group, Travis Street Hospitality as Knox Bistro, Georgie and Le Bilboquet.
We had such a peaceful start the day here at Rose…who else is planning to come asap?! Tag your friends and make your trail-walk-and-Rose-cafe plans too!
